Gordon Stokey, aka Dr Stokeygoon is a man I dreamt up. His name - Dr Stokeygoon - is based on where he used to live and his football allegiance. He has no links whatsoever with the Potteries nor is he a musician (apart from singing in his local choral society).
Middle age has been quite kind to him and he has been accused of bleaching the hair on his temples white to make him look more distinguished. Sadly there is nothing cosmetic he can do to align his behaviour more closely with his age.
